Weapon / Armor Upgrading FAQ

1. What is weapon/armor upgrading?

Upgrading increases the attack power of weapons and the defense of armor by using upgrade components.

2. What items are used for upgrading?

Weapons: Burr / Fine Burr

Armor: Protection Potion / Luxury Protection Potion

Elemental Resistance (Armor Only):

  • Crystal (Ice)
  • Sodium (Electric)
  • Iron (Fire)
  • Silver (Poison)
  • Bone Powder (Wind)

Each has a “Fine” version for higher upgrades.

3. How do I upgrade items?

Left click the upgrade component → drag onto the weapon/armor → right click the item to apply.

4. Where can I get upgrade components?

Dropped by monsters only. Not sold by NPCs. Players may sell them in the marketplace or events may reward them.

5. Can I remove upgrade components?

No. Once applied, they cannot be removed.

6. Maximum upgrade level?

+9 (Plus Nine)

7. Stats added per level?

Attack and defense added varies per item.

8. Which items are used for weapons vs armor?

Weapons: Burr / Fine Burr

Armor: Protection Potion variants and all elemental components.

9. What is the difference between normal and fine variants?

Normal: +1 to +4 only

Fine: +1 to +9

Upgrade Risks

10. Are there risks?

+1 to +4 = No risk
+4 and above = Risk increases as level increases.

11. Success Rates

12. What happens when upgrade fails?

  • Nothing happens
  • Item resets to +0
  • Item breaks permanently

Limitations & Special Cases

13. Can I buy upgrade components in the item shop?

No.

14. Marketplace pricing?

Prices vary by player. No fixed range.

15–16. What if I use wrong components?

You will see a red warning message in chat. You cannot upgrade beyond +4 without “Fine” variants. You cannot upgrade beyond +9.

17. Can I upgrade accessories?

No.

18. Can I upgrade item shop weapons?

Yes, but they expire.

19. Can I upgrade costumes?

No, but you can upgrade the armor attached to them.

20. Can I restore broken items?

No. Once shattered, it is permanently lost.
